Privacy Policy

Zack's App ("the app") is a private automation tool built and used by a single individual, Zack Palmer, to manage his own Google Gmail and Calendar data. It is not distributed to, or used by, any other person. This policy explains what the app accesses and how that data is handled.

Data the app accesses

When connected to a Google Account via OAuth, the app may access:

Gmail messages, labels, and drafts (to read, label, archive, and draft replies to email)
Google Calendar events (to read availability and create or update events)

All accounts connected to the app belong to the owner. The app does not access, request, or process Google data belonging to any other user.

How the data is used

Solely to perform the automation the owner configured — triaging his own email and managing his own calendar.
Processing happens on infrastructure the owner controls (personal and self-hosted machines). Data is not sent to, sold to, or shared with any third party, and is not used for advertising or for training any third-party model.
OAuth credentials are stored in an encrypted secrets vault accessible only to the owner's own automation code.

Data retention

The app does not maintain a separate long-term copy of email or calendar content beyond what is needed for its immediate automation (e.g., a short-lived local cache). Google account data itself remains governed by the user's own Google Account and Google's own retention policies.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the app's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page, which immediately invalidates all OAuth tokens issued to it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
